#KiniNews: Zayn Rayyan's mum found guilty of child neglect; 'The killer is still out there'

[KiniNews] The Petaling Jaya Sessions Court has convicted Zayn Rayyan’s mother, Ismanira Abdul Manaf, of child neglect today and sentenced her to five years in prison.

Judge Syahliza Warnoh ordered Ismanira to start serving her sentence today, after dismissing her application to postpone her imprisonment.

The situation then became with Ismanira's husband admonishing and cursing those in attendance.

Speaking to the press later, Zayn’s paternal grandfather, Zahari Reba, told reporters that while the court has made its decision, police still have a duty to continue their hunt for Zayn’s killer.

“What is the status of his case? Until now, police have been conducting a failed investigation, (as) the killer is still out there," he said.

He also appealed to the authorities to continue their investigation fairly and transparently.
