[KiniNews] Kedah PAS chief Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said the upcoming Simpang Jeram by-election is seen as a "gateway" for the "Perikatan Nasional wave" to spread to Johor.
Speaking during the launch of the PN campaign machinery in Bakri, Johor, last night, Sanusi urged voters to "experiment" to ensure that the PN wav" was maintained and ti send a strong signal to Pakatan Harapan and BN.
"This wave that we saw during the (Aug 12) state elections will hit Johor and reach Singapore. We will start here (in Simpang Jeram). Then, we will take over the state in another two and a half years," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has hit out at Local Government and Development Minister Nga Kor Ming for brushing aside criticism over the inclusion of DAP’s logo on mock cheques presented to several schools in Ipoh, Perak.
Akmal reportedly said that if this was his way of thinking then DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke should replace Nga with a better candidate for the post.
