[KiniNews] Police this morning arrested the husband of Pamela Ling, who was abducted while on her way to facilitate an MACC investigation on April 9.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa confirmed the arrest and said that he was arrested to facilitate the investigation.
Previously, Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said his team is investigating the possibility of Ling’s husband, Sarawakian businessperson Thomas Hah Tiing Siu, being involved in her abduction.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, DAP lawmaker Wong Shu Qi has taken aim at PKR’s Wong Chen for dragging her party into his critique of money politics.
She pointed out that her party’s national congress was held at a convention centre, not the five-star Ritz-Carlton Hotel and said that their elected representatives still contributed 15 percent of their monthly allowance to the party.
