[KiniNews] Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has tendered his resignation, with June 17 set to be his last day in office.
Noting that his resignation letter was submitted to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Rafizi said he will be clearing his annual leave beginning today until June 16.
Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad also tendered his resignation, with July 4 set to be his last day in office.
Nik Nazmi said he will be on leave beginning tomorrow until July 3.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, PKR deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar has penned a tribute to Rafizi following the latter's resignation as economy minister, hailing him as a fearless individual who spoke truth to power.
Nurul Izzah, who unseated Rafizi as PKR deputy president in the recent PKR election, said he had introduced ideas and principles that changed Malaysia's political discourse - especially in terms of good governance, transparency, and economic justice.
