[KiniNews] Former PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli has called on authorities to immediately halt the alleged intimidation of civil servants and the public over differing views on the recent party election.
Rafizi claimed he had received multiple complaints over the past week involving enforcement actions against individuals for sharing personal opinions on the polls - opinions that he stressed did not breach any laws.
“If differing opinions about the conduct and outcome of the PKR election are not aligned with the leadership of the federal government, this is a challenge that should be addressed with wisdom," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, DAP lawmaker Teresa Kok has reminded Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Yunos, who declared that he was now cancer-free, to settle the sum he owed her lawyer.
The Seputeh MP congratulated Jamal and said that it is time for him to pay her lawyer as ordered by the court.
