[KiniNews] Businessperson Albert Tei has accused the MACC of harbouring “rats” who leaked his confidential testimony to Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor.
Tei said he was stunned when Hajiji referred to the contents of his MACC statement during a Christmas luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in Kota Kinabalu last December.
Tei said he has lodged two reports, one with the police under the Official Secrets Act and Section 203A of the Penal Code for disclosing confidential information, and another with MACC for alleged abuse of power.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Umno Youth has announced that it will not participate in PAS’ anti-Urban Renewal Act (URA) rally scheduled for Oct 4 unless the government rejects its suggestions on the matter.
Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh said he wasn't against a rally, but perhaps before protesting, it might be better to have a roundtable discussion so that they can discuss the relevant solutions.
