[KiniNews] A purported demonstration in support of Bersatu deputy president Hamzah Zainudin outside of party president Muhyiddin Yassin’s house last night did not materialise.

Instead, the only demonstration was a show of support by Muhyiddin’s dinner guests for the embattled president.

Two days prior, after invitations for Bersatu MPs to attend the fete at Bukit Damansara were leaked, a poster began circulating in WhatsApp circles calling for a rally to defend Hamzah, who is being pitted against the party president.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, the Indira Gandhi Action Team (Ingat) said that M Indira Gandhi will pull the plug on the upcoming “justice march” and drop all civil cases filed against the government and the police if her daughter Prasana Diksa is returned to her.

Its chairperson, Arun Dorasamy, told the press today that the only objective behind all the legal action and protest is for Indira to be reunited with her daughter.
