[KiniNews] The Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) will appeal the Kuala Lumpur High Court’s rulings that held the government and police responsible for the disappearances of Pastor Raymond Koh and activist Amri Che Mat.
Attorney-General Dusuki Mokhtar said the decisions were not based on proper judicial principles and that the matter will be brought to the Court of Appeal.
Yesterday, Judge Su Tiang Joo found the government and police vicariously liable for both disappearances — ordering RM3 million in damages to Amri’s wife and RM10,000 a day to Koh’s trust account until he is found.
