About 100 traditional fishing boats surrounded and chased away a Petronas survey ship in waters off Ketapang, Madura Island, in Indonesia, last week.Videos on social media showed a group of wooden fishing vessels approaching and encircling the Petronas vessel at about noon on Oct 17.Fisherfolk on board the boats could be seen shouting at the Petronas vessel, Prospero 9, to stop its operations and leave the area immediately.
