United States President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping held a high-level meeting on the sidelines of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Busan, South Korea today.
Trump reportedly said that the US will ease tariffs on Chinese goods in exchange for curbing the flow of fentanyl, resuming purchases of US soybeans and keep exporting rare earth.
Meanwhile, China's Commerce Ministry said China will suspend the current rare earth export restrictions against the US for a year.
